Police say 2 small fires broke out after house likely targeted

ORLANDO, Fla. – Police are searching for the person or persons behind a fiery attack on an Orlando home.

According to Orlando police, two bomb-like devices were thrown at the window of a home on Lanette Street around 1 a.m. Friday.

Five adults were inside the home at the time and tried dousing the fire with water before firefighters arrived, according to officers.

No one was injured, police said.

Police believe the home was targeted and the attack is being investigated as arson.

Investigators told Local 6 it could be weeks before it's clear what chemicals were used in the attack.
