BOSTON – You'll probably think this is pretty strange, but doctors say that before you know it, there could be a birth control pill for men!
Researchers in Boston have been testing a special compound called JQ1 on mice.

Doctors say, over time, the compound is reducing fertility in male mice and stopping them from getting females pregnant.
And when those mice are taken off the drug, their fertility levels go back to normal with no side effects.
Researchers hope to soon start testing the compound on men to see if it has the same effects.
