LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A motorcycle crash in Lake County killed the driver and left the passenger in critical condition Tuesday evening, according to a Florida Highway Patrol press release.
FHP said at around 7:30 p.m., the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Royal Trails Road when the driver lost control, went off the road and struck a culvert. The driver and the passenger were both ejected from the motorcycle. Neither of them were wearing helmets, troopers said.

The driver has been identified as 27-year-old Tracey Comstock of Orlando. The passenger, who is being treated at Halifax Medical Center, is 33-year-old Stephanie Donahue of Eustis.
The crash remains under investigation.
