GROVELAND, Fla. – Lake County deputies were called to a home around noon for a report of a drowning.
Deputies said they were called to 2519 Kinght Lake Road in Groveland after a 3-year-old was found in a pool.
Lake County EMS along with Lake County Sheriff's deputies responded and immediately started CPR on the child, deputies said.
Deputies said the child was taken to South Lake Hospital and declared dead.
Deputies said they are not releasing any names at this time.
