LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – Former Major League Baseball superstar Johnny Damon will be teaming up with the Lake County Sheriff's Office to stop bullying.

Damon, who won two Word Series during his 18-year career, met with deputies at Lake Minneola High School yesterday to spread the message: kids should tell someone if they're being bullied, and they always have options.

Officers hope that Damon's high profile will draw attention to their bully-prevention efforts.
