WELLINGTON, Fla. - Authorities say a man kicked by a horse at a South Florida polo club has died.
The man was kicked Friday afternoon at the International Polo Club in Wellington.
Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Teri Barbera says the man died of his injuries at a hospital.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews were called to the club in response to a traumatic injury.
Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto tells The Palm Beach Post that the man was flown to a hospital in critical condition.
The man's name has not been released.
