Marion County officials said two deputies shot and killed a man Friday night after they say he attacked them.
Deputies said around 10:45 p.m. deputies were called to the 10400 block of Southeast Sunset Harbor Road in Summerfield about a disturbance in the area.

Deputies said when they arrived on scene, they found a man in the road who was acting aggressively and would not cooperation with their commands.
Officials said deputies Lauren Miley and Norman Brown were attacked by the man, forcing one of them to shoot him.
The attacker died at the scene and deputies are not releasing his name.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement took over the investigation.
