MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Police say the body of a naked man in his 20s washed ashore on Miami Beach.

A passerby called police after spotting the body around 2 a.m. near 25th Street and Collins Avenue.

Miami Beach police spokesman Bobby Hernandez told The Miami Herald the body doesn't appear to be that of a homeless person.

Hernandez says the body was rushed for an autopsy. There were no immediate signs of trauma.

Police say they are hoping someone calls in a missing person report so they can identify him.

No further details were immediately available.
