ORLANDO, Fla. - Orange County deputies continue to search for an assailant they're calling "armed and dangerous" after a man was stabbed early Thursday.
The 37-year-old victim was found along Orange Blossom Trail near 44th Street in Orlando. It's not known who found the victim.
Emergency workers rushed the man to a hospital in critical condition.
"We're so early into this investigation and we haven't been able to speak to the victim to find out exactly what happened," said Lt. Paul Hopkins of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives planned on meeting with the victim at the hospital to get a description of the attacker. They're also canvassing the neighborhood hoping someone may have witnessed the stabbing.
