McDonald's customer attacked by gunmen

Orange County deputies investigate Orlando robbery

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two gunmen stormed a McDonald's restaurant Monday morning and attacked a customer during a robbery, according to Orange County sheriff's deputies.

The robbery happened around 12:30 a.m. on South Goldenrod Road near Lake Underhill Road in Orlando.

According to deputies, there were workers inside the 24-hour restaurant along with one customer who was sitting near the door.

The gunmen were wearing masks and hoodies when they entered the restaurant, according to deputies.

The customer told Local 6 that the gunmen threw him to the ground during the robbery.  He was not injured.

It's not clear how much money was stolen, but deputies believe the gunmen fled the scene in a black four-door sedan.

No other details have been released.
