Orange County deputy accused of fleeing during traffic stop

Deputy relieved of duty without pay

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An Orange County sheriff's deputy has been relieved of duty without pay following accusations that he refused to pull over for another deputy.

Aaron Larkin, 27, was arrested on Sunday night after deputies say he was driving with an expired tag near Good Homes Road and Colonial Drive and wouldn't pull over, instead speeding off.

He was also not wearing his seatbelt, according to deputies. Larkin was off-duty at the time of the arrest and in his personal car.

Larkin joined OCSO in 2007 and worked as a patrol deputy.

He bonded out of jail Monday night on charges of fleeing and eluding. OCSO says the investigation is ongoing.
