ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando City Soccer fans will receive a new code of conduct after police arrested fans during a recent game against the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Four members of Orlando City Soccer Club supporters group were arrested Sunday after a brawl broke out in the stands.
Orlando City released a statement Wednesday on its website saying the four fans have been suspended from all future games pending the outcome of their legal proceedings.
The club has also suspended all privileges associated with being a Supporter Group, including the use of flags and drums. Members of the club, other than the four arrested, are still allowed to attend games.
An updated copy of the new Code Of Conduct during games will be distributed to fans.
Orlando City will play its 2015 inaugural Major League Soccer season in the Orlando Citrus Bowl, which is currently undergoing $200 million in renovations.
A new soccer-only stadium is scheduled to open just ahead of the 2016 Major League Soccer season.
