Orlando store owner opens fire on robbers inside business

Deputies search for masked gunmen

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County deputies said they are looking for two men who barged into a store and fired shots Thursday night before the store owner returned fire.

Deputies said they were called to the African Store on Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando after the men, who were wearing masks, ran inside to rob the business.

Deputies said one of the robbers pistol-whipped someone inside and fired at least one shot before the owner pulled out a weapon of his own and returned fire.

It's not known if either suspect was hit by the gunfire.

Deputies said the men were gone when they got there. So far, no arrests have been made.
