Family leaves house after cracks form, tiles pop up

Cracks from a possible sinkhole force a family from their Orange County home.

ORLANDO, Fla. – A possible sinkhole has damaged an Orlando home, forcing the family to leave their house.

The family living at 7745 Harbor Lake Drive called 911 when they saw cracks form in the house.

Officials with Orange County Fire Rescue said a few tiles popped up and a clear crack formed in the driveway, but they told Local 6 they did not see a hole.

Fire officials said Orange County building inspectors will be out to determine what caused the damage.

The family left the home for the evening, and the house has been taped off.
