Osceola County opens back-to-school hotline

Operators answer parents' questions before schools open

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Parents in Osceola County can get their back-to-school questions answered through a new hotline set up on Wednesday.

Parents can reach hotline operators by calling (407) 518-8159.

School district workers can answer questions in both English and Spanish. They can address concerns about bus routes, uniforms, lunches, registration, immunizations and anything school-related.

The hotline will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on August 15, 16 and 17. During the first week of school -- starting August 20 -- the hotline will be open from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
