ORLANDO, Fla. - Publix announced on its Facebook page it has activated free Wi-Fi at all of its stores so customers can access the internet and their apps -- including the Publix app -- while they shop.
Customers can connect to a store's Wi-Fi network by going into their phone's wireless settings and selecting the network named "Publix."
Publix is encouraging its customers to download its free app, which can be used to access savings on-the-go and create digital grocery lists.
Customers will also be able to use other apps -- including Shop Savvy, Google Shopper and RedLaser -- to compare prices.
