HEATHROW, Fla. - Over the last few months, we've seen an unusual number of bear sightings in Central Florida.
Now, the latest one was just feet from homes.
A Local 6 viewer sent us a picture of a black bear wandering through a neighborhood in Heathrow, Seminole County on Saturday.
That viewer says she was walking her dog when she spotted the bear about 30 feet from her front door.
The animal looked at the viewer, then ran off.
Bear sightings have been common in Central Florida recently.
Back in June, a black bear was tranquilized and fell out of a tree near Colonial Drive and Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando.
That animal was released into the Ocala National Forest.
