WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. – Some Winter Springs High School students are a bit shaken after their mom said they were approached by a man after school Tuesday at a nearby McDonald's.
The McDonald's is at the corner of Highway 434 and Tuskawilla Road in Winter Springs.
A mother of two teenage girls told News 6 that her daughters went to the McDonald's after school, when a man, believed to be around his 60s asked the girls about their T-shirts.
They're on the Winter Springs High School dance team.
He asked if they would dance naked for him and made other inappropriate comments.
At point, the mom said the man touched her daughter, adjusting her clothing.
That alleged action has police looking into the report.
"I teach my kids the same thing of to look around and pay attention to your surroundings because you never know what's lurking around but it's scary at the same time," said Chrisshawan Autry, who has two kids at the high school.
Even before the news emerged, Autry said she always picks her kids up rather than allowing them to walk home.
"I don't want them walking anywhere because there are so many things that are happening during this day and age that you just can't trust anybody," Autry said.
The school is aware of the situation.
Michael Lawrence, with Seminole County Schools, told News 6 the school's resource officer, who's with the Sheriff's Office and the school's dance teacher, have been briefed by Winter Springs police.
The mother described the man as someone in their 60s with short black hair. Her daughter's said it appeared to be thinning on the top. He looks to be 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet nine inches tall, and was last seen wearing a white windbreaker and sweatpants.
Police are looking at McDonald's surveillance video to find out if it can help identify the man.
