DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Motorcyclists from across the country will ride through Volusia County this week as Biketoberfest returns in a few days.
But a new report shows that in each recent year, fewer bikers have come to the signature event in Daytona Beach.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal was told by the event's organizers that the steady drop-off for the last couple of years has Volusia business owners worried.
Some are concerned that the event doesn't appeal to the younger generation, so organizers have developed a marketing plan to lure back bikers that have attended the event previously.
