SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. – A Port Orange bar manager was attacked by a customer who refused to pay her tab of more than $100, leaving the manager with bloody cuts on her face and arm from the customer's nails, according to police.

The customer, Jennifer Thoma, left the Port Orange bar without paying her tab early Thursday morning, then went to Marks Sports Pub where the altercation occurred, South Daytona police said.

The manager of the first bar followed Thoma to the pub, located at 2045 S. Ridgewood Ave., to ask her to pay. Instead of paying, Thoma lunged at the manager's face, cutting her cheek, and began throwing beer bottles and other objects at the manager, according to a South Daytona police report.

When officers from the South Daytona Police Department arrived, they found Thoma in the back of the bar. She was booked into the Volusia County Jail where she has bonded out for $5,000, according to a police report.
