VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A Volusia County mother accused of driving drunk while her young song was in the car is now facing more charges.
Sonia Sirol, 40, was first arrested on Friday. Deputies say she ran a stop sign and tried to drive the wrong way in traffic before they were finally able to stop her.

Sirol's 8-year-old son was in her SUV at the time, deputies say.
Sirol was booked into jail and released.
According to the jail, however, Sirol was arrested again on Sunday, charged with leaved the scene of a crash, resisting arrest and aggravated assault.
Sirol bonded out of jail and her son has been turned over to the Department of Children and Families.
