A train derails near Sanford.

SANFORD, Fla. - A freight train derailed Thursday morning in Seminole County, causing delays for SunRail.

The engine of the freight train slipped off the tracks near Sanford, and SunRail officials said the incident caused 30-minute delays for its passengers.

No injuries were reported.

SunRail tweeted about the delay, saying, "ATT. RIDERS: All #SunRail trains are receiving a 30 minute delay this morning due to traffic disruption. we apoplogize for the inconvenience."
