Front brings changes to weather in Central Florida

High temps in Orlando will near record of 85 degrees

ORLANDO, Fla. – After a very warm weekend in Central Florida, a front will soon bring changes to the region.

High temperatures on Monday will reach 84 degrees in Orlando, one degree shy of the record set in 2011.

There's a good chance of rain, however, later in the day.

"Rain moves in after 6 o'clock for Central Florida," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.  "Rain will be on and off into early Tuesday."

Temperatures will only warm to 65 degrees on Tuesday, with a 30 percent chance of rain for the first part of the day.

Lows on Christmas Eve into Christmas morning will be in the upper 40s.

High temperatures will warm to 72 on Christmas Day with no rain.

"Rain chances will be at 20 percent for the end of the week, with highs in the low 70s," Bridges said.
