The tanker was carrying several thousand gallons of fuel, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office said. Half of the truck's wheels were off the road.
The Volusia County Professional Firefighters Association said no gas was leaking, but Volusia County Fire Rescue personnel helped prevent any spillage so the product could be safely secured while the truck was moved.
Deputies said the road was blocked at Kepler Road from East Minnesota Avenue to State Road 44.
