PLAISTOW, N.H. - A fugitive couple arrested at an Orlando theme park are arraigned in New Hampshire on charges in the beating and burning of the woman's 3-year-old son.
The couple was arraigned Monday at Plaistow District Court.
Twenty-three-year-old Jessica Linscott and her boyfriend, 27-year-old Roland Dow, waived extradition on Friday, two days after they were arrested by federal marshals while watching a parade at Universal Orlando following two weeks on the run. They were jailed in New Hampshire on Saturday.
Dow is charged with first- and second-degree assault and is being held on $500,000 bail. He and Linscott, who's held on $100,000 bail, face multiple charges of child endangerment for failing to protect and get medical attention for 3-year-old James, who remains hospitalized.
The judge ordered that the couple not have contact with each other or the child.
