A. The beach is open to vehicles from sunrise to sunset from Nov. 1 to April 30 and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. from May 1 to Oct. 31.

A. Parking at Lori Wilson Park, which is located 1.75 miles south of State Road 520 and A1A intersection, is free. Parking at Shepard Park, which is located at State Road 520 beach-end, is $10 and Fischer Park, which is located one mile south of SR 520 and A1A intersection is $7. Parking meters can also be found around beaches at Cocoa Beach.

A. Lifeguards are located at Alan Sheppard Park, Lori Wilson Park, Minutemen Cswy., Jetty Park (Cape Canaveral), Fischer Park and Murkshe Park. Full-time lifeguards are on duty from Easter weekend until Labor Day weekend, Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Part-time lifeguards are on duty from Memorial Day weekend until the first week in August, Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
