Q. What are the hours?
A. The beach is open to vehicles from sunrise to sunset from Nov. 1 to April 30 and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. from May 1 to Oct. 31.

Q: What is the cost?
A. There is a $5 vehicle fee per day from Feb. 1 to Nov. 30. Season beach parking passes for Volusia County residents are $20 and for non-residents are $40 which can be purchased at tollbooths. For more information contact 386-254-4605.

Q. Where are the lifeguards located and when are they on duty?
A. Stations are open according to available manpower. Locations of the stations can be found on the Volusia County Beach Navigator app which is updated regularly. Lifeguards are on duty from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Sunday.

Q. Is alcohol allowed?
A. No.

Q. Are pets allowed?
A. No.

COCOA BEACH

Q. Are vehicles allowed on the beach?
A. No.

Q: What is the cost?
A. Parking at Lori Wilson Park, which is located 1.75 miles south of State Road 520 and A1A intersection, is free. Parking at Shepard Park, which is located at State Road 520 beach-end,  is $10 and Fischer Park, which is located one mile south of SR 520 and A1A intersection is $7. Parking meters can also be found around beaches at Cocoa Beach.

Q. What are the hours?
A. Public parks close at dusk.

Q. Where are the lifeguards located and when are they on duty?
A. Lifeguards are located at Alan Sheppard Park, Lori Wilson Park, Minutemen Cswy., Jetty Park (Cape Canaveral), Fischer Park and Murkshe Park. Full-time lifeguards are on duty from Easter weekend until Labor Day weekend, Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Part-time lifeguards are on duty from Memorial Day weekend until the first week in August, Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Q. Is alcohol allowed?
A. Yes. But no glass containers allowed.

Q. Are pets allowed?
A. No.

DAYTONA BEACH

Q. Are vehicles allowed on the beach?
A. Yes. The beach is open to vehicles from Feb. 1 to Nov. 30 for $5 per vehicle and after 3 p.m. passes are $3. Annual passes for Volusia County residents are $20 or $40 for non-residents. For more information call 386-254-4605. The public beach is always open and free to pedestrians and bicyclists depending on tides. Parking maps are listed here.
