ORLANDO, Fla. - Gas prices are back up again in Central Florida--but it's not the same across the U.S.
AAA says this week's spike in gas prices is unique to Florida because of maintenance issues at refineries in Louisiana are causing a supply problem.
Florida is being hit harder than most other southeastern states due to no pipeline, and there have been shipping challenges. Georgia is only up about 3 cents.
AAA does not expect this to alter holiday travel.
In Orlando, prices are up 22 cents from a week ago, 8 cents from a month ago, and 2 cents a year ago.
- TODAY (for regular) $3.344
- YESTERDAY $3.318
- WEEK AGO $3.124
- MONTH AGO $3.264
- YEAR AGO $3.324
