Gators Pick New Starting QB For LSU Game

Jacoby Brissett Will Start, Sources Say

BATON ROUGE, La - The Florida Gators have decided to start Jacoby Brissett in Saturday's game against LSU, sources close to the Gators told Local 6's David Pingalore.

It was originally thought that Jeff Driskel, who in high school played at Hagerty in Oviedo, would be starting in Saturday's game.

The shuffle in Gators quarterbacks comes after former starting quarterback John Brantley suffered an injury during last week's game.

Local 6's David Pingalore is in Louisiana for the game. Check back to Local 6 and for coverage of the game.
