According to Zimmerman's written warning dated Aug. 19, 2013 at 11:06 a.m., from FHP, Zimmerman had improper tag display on his Honda truck and that his vehicle's excessive tint needed to be corrected.

Zimmerman told troopers he installed the heavy tinting because he had been receiving death threats since being acquitted.

FHP's dash camera video was also rolling during Zimmerman's traffic stop on southbound Interstate 95 at mile marker 208. Zimmerman did not get out of the vehicle.

Zimmerman, 29, has made headlines since his July 2013 acquittal in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman has been pulled over twice for speeding, once in Texas and once in Lake Mary. This incident occurred after the Texas speeding incident and before the Lake Mary speeding incident, where he was issued a $256 ticket.

Earlier this month, Zimmerman and his estranged  wife were involved in an altercation at her Central Florida home. Since then, she's been unable to serve him with divorce papers because she doesn't know where he is.

The warning and video were released the same day that Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, said on a TV interview that her husband has changed since the acquittal and that she's conflicted over her husband's assertion he acted in self-defense the night Martin was killed.
