ORLANDO, Fla. – The GPS log for George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman acquitted in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, shows what Zimmerman did leading up to his second-degree murder trial in July 2013.

The GPS report, which was released by Seminole County Sheriff's Office, shows that Zimmerman went to Target to buy flowers for his wife, went to Gander Mountain sporting goods store and bought a bulletproof vest from Gall's Police Supply.
Zimmerman also got new cellphone numbers, visited his attorneys 116 times, moved three times and completed 12 drug/alcohol tests.
In May 2013, Zimmerman failed to call in for a 48-hour check-in, but he emailed the sheriff's office twice, according to the log report. The GPS later confirmed that he was at home.
Zimmerman later apologized he forgot to check-in after a busy morning with attorneys, officials said.
Zimmerman was under GPS surveillance from July 6, 2012, to when he was acquitted on July 13, 2013.
