Kraft says it is working on a fix for its Capri Sun pouches after a woman found mold in a drink and shared the picture with hundreds of thousands of people.
The California woman tells CBS Sacramento affiliate KOVR one of her boyfriend's children discovered the mold when he felt something stuck in the straw.
"It was gross," the boy told KOVR.
"It was slimy and like whitish and pink," said Ashley Hibbard, the woman who took the picture.
Hibbard told KOVR she recalled seeing a similar mold-like substance on the internet two weeks earlier. She took a picture of the substance found in her boyfriend's son's drink and posted it on Facebook.
Hibbard's photo quickly became viral, with more than 250,000 people sharing the photo.
Kraft, the company that makes Capri Sun, admitted the substance may have been mold because it has seen similar cases. The company told KOVR it is possible for mold to grow in a Capri Sun if the pouch is punctured and air gets inside.
