DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - A robber held a sporting goods store manager at gunpoint and forced her to remove money from a safe, according to Daytona Beach police.
The holdup, which was captured by surveillance cameras, occurred around noon Wednesday at the Dick's Sporting Goods store on International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach while the store was filled with customers.
In the video, the gunman is seen ordering the store manager to empty the safe, located in a back office, and fill an empty cardboard box with cash. Although the manager complies, the robber appears to become angry.
Video shows the thief grabbing the woman by the neck and pushing her into a counter as he holds a gun to her head.
As the holdup was underway, an accomplice waited inside the store, according to investigators.
Anyone who recognizes the thieves are urged to call Daytona Beach police.
