Gunmen rob Orlando pharmacy

No one injured in robbery

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County sheriff's deputies continue to search for two men who robbed an Orlando pharmacy at gunpoint.

The armed robbery happened around 7 a.m. Monday at the CVS at 7665 West Colonial Drive.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, two men carrying handguns entered the store and demanded cash.

The men, who had their faces partially covered, ran away with an undisclosed amount of money, deputies said.

No one was injured in the robbery. A customer and her young daughter are seen quickly leaving the store, making it out safely.

Deputies said the men appeared to be 25 to 30 years old.

So far, no arrests have been made. Deputies tell us the suspect ran from the scene.
Detectives are working with the Orlando Police Department to see if this case is connected to the other hotel robberies. There have been more than a dozen hotel robberies in the last two months.
