Gunmen sought after shots fired into Palm Bay home

Police call incident 'retribution-style' attack

Two gunmen are sought in Palm Bay.

PALM BAY, Fla. – Palm Bay detectives hope residents will be able to identify two hooded men who were seen firing several rounds into a home last month in what police describe as a "retribution-style" attack.

No one was injured in the incident, which was reported about 1:40 a.m. February 22 at a home in the 2100 block of Henry Street in Palm Bay, a few yards away from a church.

“They were shooting into the garage. We have video that shows the guns firing,” Palm Bay police Lt. Mike Bandish told News 6 partner Florida Today.

The two hooded men were described as being 16 to 22 years old.

The pair can be seen running from the scene in one of the video stills released by police.

Police would not elaborate on why they believe that the shooting might have been an act of revenge, but added that officers are familiar with the family who lives in the targeted home.

Anyone with information in the shooting is asked to contact police at 321-952-3456 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
