Heat back on in Central Florida

Rain chances greater in Flagler, Volusia couties

ORLANDO, Fla. – After some comfortable days featuring cooler temperatures in the Orlando area last week, the heat's back on in Central Florida.

High temperatures will be above the average of 85 degrees for the next several days, reaching into the upper 80s across the region.

Rain chances stand at 20 percent on Tuesday, mostly focused to the northeast.

"An area of low pressure off the coast of Flagler and Volusia counties will bring moisture on shore," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The chance of rain remains at 20 percent into Saturday.
