Heat continues to blanket Central Florida

Rain chances increase in Orlando by end of week

ORLANDO, Fla. – More extreme heat -- with "feels-like" temperatures reaching 105 -- is on tap Tuesday in the Orlando area, but rain chances increase by the end of the week.

Temperatures warm to 95 degrees in Orlando, the same mark reached the previous day.  However, with humidity factored in, it will feel like 105 degrees.

Rain chances stand at 20 percent on Tuesday and 30 percent on Wednesday.

"Winds off the ocean will bring increasing rain chances for the next few days in Central Florida," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

By Friday, rain chances increase to 50 percent.

There's a 40 percent chance of rain over the weekend, and high temperatures dip slightly to 91 degrees on Saturday.
