Heavy rain, possible flooding in Central Florida forecast

High temperatures in Orlando to remain in 90s

ORLANDO, Fla. – The hump-day forecast in Central Florida calls for more storms across the region.

"We're tracking more afternoon storms, with rain chances at 50 percent across Central Florida," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.  "Some storms will be strong, with heavy rain and some flooding possible."

High temperatures in Orlando will be in the low and mid-90s into the weekend.

Rain chances will be lower by the end of the weekend.

On Tuesday, some areas southwest of Orlando International Airport saw 4.5 inches of rain.
