FORT MCCOY, Fla. – The Marion County Sheriff's Office is investigating after human bones were found on Monday.
Deputies said the bones were discovered in a fenced-in wooded area just north of Fort McCoy on County Road 315 in Marion County.

Deputies didn't release the identity or the manner of death.
The medical examiner's office will investigate the remains.
Anyone who may have seen something suspicious in the area over the past several weeks is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 352-368-STOP.
