I-4 reopens in Volusia County after crash

2 hurt in crash, troopers say

ORANGE CITY, Fla. – Two people were injured Monday morning in a crash on Interstate 4 that forced officials to close the roadway in Volusia County.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash occurred around 11 a.m. on I-4 westbound at the State Road 472 exit in Orange City.

Troopers said one person was ejected from a vehicle, but details about the crash were unknown.

The FHP said one person has critical injuries and another has serious injuries. They both were airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center.

No other information was immediately available.

I-4 westbound reopened around 11:45 a.m. Monday.
