ORLANDO, Fla. -

The safe discovery of three abducted women in Cleveland has given hope to other families that their loved ones might be found alive as well--including the father of Jennifer Kesse.

Kesse was 24 years old when she disappeared from her condo near the Mall at Milennia seven years ago. Police found her car abandoned about a mile away at the Huntington on the Green condos down the street, but Kesse was never found.

Drew Kesse tells Local 6 he's inspired by Amanda Berry, 27, Georgina "Gina" DeJesus, 23, and Michelle Knight, 32 being found safe after being abducted nearly a decade ago from the same neighborhood.

"As each passing day goes by I'm here to tell you it gets harder and harder and harder," Drew Kesse said. "You start to play the percentages and everything else and it doesn't look good. It never looks good. And then something like this happens."

Drew Kesse says one of his biggest frustrations was surveillance video capturing the person driving her car leaving the complex on foot, but the cameras never got a good view of the person's face.

"I think that communities are starting to help," he said. "They are acting when they need something to be acted upon."

Drew Kesse said it is promising that it wasn't police who found the three women, it was a neighbor who heard something amiss and took action.

"It renews everything it changes the game again," he said.

Jennifer Kesse's birthday is May 20. She will turn 32 years old.
