A JetBlue pilot from Maitland was arrested in a heroin sting in Boston, according to authorities.
John Manwaring, 42, was arrested on Sunday on charges of possession of heroin.
Police said that around 5:45 p.m. Sunday, Boston police officers spotted what they believed to be drug transactions and focused their attention on people moving in and out of an alley.
Manwaring was one of the six people taken into police custody in the sting.
Manwaring told police he was a pilot for JetBlue and had arrived in the city earlier that day.
JetBlue released a statement saying, "We are aware of the allegations and are prepared to cooperate fully with the authorities. The crewmember in question was removed from duty last night pending the outcome of this investigation."
