KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Kissimmee police have arrested a 20-year-old man after they say he accidentally shot his sister's boyfriend while showing him the gun at a gas station on Monday.

Henry Gonzalez-Galay was charged with manslaughter after police said he took a revolver out of a book bag to show his sister's boyfriend, Henry Antonio Ortiz-Reyes, when he put his finger within the gun's trigger guard and accidentally fired it.

Ortiz-Reyes was taken to Osceola Regional Hospital by his girlfriend, who was inside of the Shell gas station at the time of the shooting. Ortiz-Reyes later died from his injuries.

After the shooting, Gonzalez-Galay emptied the ammunition from the gun and discarded the gun in a dumpster at the hospital and disposed of the ammunition in some bushes, police said.

Authorities recovered the gun and charged Gonzalez-Galay with tampering with physical evidence. He was taken to the Osceola County Jail and held on no bond.
