ORLANDO, Fla. – A Kissimmee pastor, wanted by police on suspicion of defrauding one of his parishioners, turned himself in.
Angel Perez-Nieves, 46, told parishioners that he needed to collect their personal information for the purpose of "state reporting," according to the Kissimmee Police Department.

Perez-Nieves used the information of one women to open an account with an alarm company. After receiving a call from the company telling her her payments were overdue, the woman alerted officials.
Perez-Nieves, wanted by police on $3,000 bond, attempted to turn himself in at the Osceola County Jail on Thursday, but officials were unable to locate his active warrant and he was turned away, Kissimmee police said.
The Kissimmee Police Department has asked the Osceola County Department of Corrections to review the events surrounding Perez-Nieves and the failure to locate the active warrant.
Perez-Nieves was already on out on bond from a prior sexual battery charge.
