In this weeks edition of the ClickOrlando high school of the week, ClickOrlando traveled to Lake Mary as the hosting Rams welcomed the Noles of Seminole high to Ram Land.
Lake Mary entered the game 6-2 after losing to one of the top rated teams in the area, Lake Brantley 35-20.
Seminole High entered Friday's contest on a 4 game losing streak and were hoping to break its losing ways behind the strong arm of QB Bryce Natale and his talented core of receivers. However, that would not be the case tonight against the Rams.
Lake Mary jumped out to a 21-16 halftime lead with a consistent ground game featuring very shifty and impressive running back Robert Brown. Brown had a TD run in the 1st quarter and also had a kickoff return for a TD called back due to a holding penalty.
On the other side of the football for Lake Mary saw LB Kameron Anderson and LB William Spurling cripple the offense of the Seminole Noles in the second half. DB Matt D'Agostino broke up many passes and recorded some tackles as well.
Nole WR's Brandon Cash and Diquan Rose kept their Noles in the game in the first half with good strong catches and fighting for every yard after the catch.
However, it seemed as if the gas ran out of the tank for the Noles as they fell to the Rams of Lake Mary 44-23. Lake Mary improves to 7-2, Seminole falls to 2-7.
