Rams host Patriots in ClickOrlando.com High School Game of the Week

LAKE MARY, Fla. – This week's ClickOrlando.com High School Game of the Week was a long time Seminole County rivalry -- the Lake Mary Rams hosted the Patriots from Lake Brantley.

In the first quarter, Ram quarterback Daniel Brown connected with his wide receiver Nick Westbrook for a 70 yard pass-and-catch. After Lake Mary added the extra point, they were on top 7-0.

The Rams would stay with the passing game. Still in the first quarter, Brown and Westbrook would hook up again with a 19 yard touchdown, putting Lake Mary up 14-0.

After a Patriot touchdown, Brown and Westbrook connected for their third touchdown, taking the 21-6 lead into halftime.

Lake Brantley would capitalize on Lake Mary's mistakes in the second half.

In the third quarter, Patriot running back Maruice Thomas returned the Ram kickoff to pay dirt, cutting the lead to 21-13.

The very next Ram possession, Lake Brantley corner back, Jake Harrell intercepted Brown's pass, taking it all the way to the house. After a two-point conversion, the Patriots and Rams were tied up at 21.

After a couple of stalled drives, Lake Mary forced Lake Brantley to punt with 5 minutes left in the game, but a bad snap went over the punter's head and the Rams picked it up and took it to the end zone.

Lake Mary would add a field goal and go on to beat the Patriots for the first time in 10 years, 37-28.
