Police search for culprits in string of car burglaries

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are searching for the culprits they say burglarized nearly a dozen cars overnight.

Between 7 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday, 10 vehicle burglaries were reported in the Rosemont area of Orlando, according to OPD.

There was no forced entry in any of the burglaries, as all the vehicles were left unlocked. Items stolen from the vehicles include a credit card, an E-Pass and a laser pointer.

Burglaries occurred in the 4300 and 4400 blocks of Re Al Court 3700 block of Camino Way and the 3900 block of South Lake Orlando Parkway.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS. Police officers are working with the community to catch those responsible.

Police advise citizens not to leave items in their cars, and to lock vehicles at all times.
