SANFORD, Fla. – You may have heard of a party bus, but how about a party bike?
Sanford is now home to a new attraction that lets you enjoy adult beverages and grill some food--all powered by people pedaling.
Limo Cycle owner Steve Tishman steers you through the streets of Sanford.
"Essentially you are a mobile party," Tishman said. "People treat you like rock stars, they wave, they take pictures, it's almost like they want your autograph."
The 15-passenger pedal bus weighs about 1,600 pounds, has padded seats, cup holders and misters to keep you cool.
"We've got five non-peddling seats, I call them VIP. It's a great option if you can't pedal or don't want to," Tishman said.
The Limo Cycle offer pub crawls and a variety of party options. Tours are two hours, with 15-minute breaks mixed in with pedaling. You can bring your own beer or wine, the company asks for no glass containers.
The Limo Cycle costs $30 per person. For more information, click here.
