Sea Lions Surrender Pirate Island

After a 15-year siege, famed sea lions Clyde & Seamore are ending the longest-running show  in  SeaWorld history.
This weekend marks the end of  "Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island."

SeaWorld says the final show times are:
Saturday:  11:15 am, 12:45 pm, 4 pm and 5:30 pm
Sunday: 11:15 am, 12:45 pm & 5:30 pm
To say goodbye, there are also shows at 2:15pm both Saturday & Sunday that are only for annual passholders.
Clyde & Seamore also star in the popular "Sea Lions Tonite"  which parodies every other SeaWorld show including Shamu.
Personally, my favorite part of that show lampoons "Pets Ahoy."
That show also ends after Sunday night (8pm both days)  -- but a similar one is expected to be back next year.
SeaWorld tells me they will soon announce Clyde & Seamore's new show, which debuts next year. Due to work needed to refresh Sea Lion and Otter Stadium -- there will be no holiday sea lion show this year.
Fun fact:: of 12 sea lions in the park, 8 take turns playing Clyde & Seamore. They will be in the new show. So will the  scene-stealing otter. The walrus is also expected to make an appearance. No word on the fate of the popular mime, who acts as a pre-show.
You can still watch the sea lions and seals in nearby Pacific Point

Thanks to Clyde & Seamore for the pirate memories. Break a leg, err flipper, for your new show.
