Splashy 2014 Mardi Gras Lineup
Universal's always been a place to party. and this year's Mardi Gras concert lineup once again features some big names. Among them: Barenaked Ladies on February 15th.
That date rings a bell. Oh, yeah -- that's the SAME day Barenaked was due to perform at SeaWorld's "Buds, Bands & BBQ" until they pulled out under fan pressure over the documentary "Blackfish."
While SeaWorld is still working on a new band line-up for their party weekends (due to start on February 1st), Universal has released their almost full list of acts. Other big names include Robin Thicke on February 22nd. Mardi Gras kicks off February 8th with Daughtry.

So look for more big crowds at the Universal Music Plaza Stage.
Mardi Gras runs select nights from Feb 8 - May 31, and also features food, New Orleans Jazz performers & once again Universal is planning to upgrade its parade to feature 3 floats based on "Around the World in 80 Days"
