The 65 pound cub was being sought so biologists could return it to the mother, who is already in captivity, following an attack on a woman who was out walking her dogs.

Officials said the cub was struck by a car and killed on Markham Woods Road in Longwood.

The cub was removed and buried.

Officials said the sow and her other two cubs remain at Busch Gardens and are doing well.
